Pursuant to Admission and Disciplinary Rule 29, all attorneys practicing in Indiana must attend a six-hour Applied Professionalism Course for Newly Admitted Attorneys within their first three years of practice.
Topics for the program include: professionalism and civility; attorney trust accounts/IOLTA accounts; the most frequent mistakes that lawyers make which lead to malpractice claims and/or disciplinary complaints and how to avoid making those mistakes; keeping clients happy; how to manage your law practice; balancing your practice and your personal life; and, technology for the law office.
