2022 Lifetime Achievement Honoree
Our 2022 Lifetime Achievement honoree is ITLA Past President John O. Feighner. Please help us celebrate John's achievements, contributions, and commitment to ITLA and the practice of law at this special program.
Mr. Feighner is a 1969 graduate of Culver Military Academy where he was Captain of the Black Horse Troop. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, RI in 1973 and graduated cum laude in 1976 from the Robert McKinney Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis.
Mr. Feighner is a past State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America and in Indiana Super Lawyers since 2001. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Indiana State Bar Association and the Allen County Bar Association. He is a member and past-President of the Benjamin Harrison Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He is a past-President of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, 2011-2012, and past president of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association’s College of Fellows. He has also served five terms on the Board of Trustees of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and is a past-President of the Museum. He has been a lecturer on various trial topics for the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and the Allen County Bar Association.
Mr. Feighner has served three terms on the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission and the Indiana Judicial Qualifications Commission. He is married to Margy Feighner and they are the parents of Spencer and Betsy.
